Which data we process and why
- Contact form: name, company, email, phone and message, to reply to your enquiry (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
- Customer area: company and contact details, email and password (stored encrypted), to manage the account and quotation requests (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
- Quotation requests: items, quantities and notes, to prepare and send our offer and to keep the customer's request history.
- Technical data: IP address of failed login attempts, kept for 15 minutes to protect accounts (legitimate interest, Art. 6.1.f GDPR).
Retention
Messages are kept for the time needed to handle the enquiry; customer area data for as long as the account is active and, for quotation requests, for the period required by civil and tax law.
Disclosure
Data are not published or sold to third parties. They are processed by authorised staff and by the hosting provider, appointed as data processor.
Your rights
You may at any time request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of or objection to processing and data portability by writing to dieselparts@dieselparts.it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
